March Programme: Thursday 11 March at 2pm – The Ivanhoe Line Many years ago the railway line from Leicester to Burton was closed, and supporters have been trying to get the line reopened for many years. Things are looking to move forward, with a grant from the government to fund a feasibility study. Stacey Ash talks to us with more information on this interesting, local topic Thursday 25 March at 2pm – Olive the Orphan Dog ‘A dog was abandoned, no place to call home, with nothing to eat, not even a bone.’ Hear the amazing story of Olly’s life and journey from a Greek island to Leicestershire. April Programme: Thursday 1 April at 2pm – An Introduction to Aromatherapy What is Aromatherapy and how can it help me? Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Sometimes it’s called essential oil therapy. Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical and emotional health. Provided by Glen Burn, Hospice Hope's Complementary Therapist Thursday 15 April at 2pm – Wild Minds Nature Explore the benefits and adventures that nature and the outdoors has to offer and how taking time to be amongst it can support positive mental health and wellbeing. Jodi from Wild Minds Nature talks to us on this interesting topic and her local company
