Hope House news

It was a busy day at Hope House, Griffydam on Monday 3rd June, with visitors in the morning and afternoon.

In the morning Sue Stanyard of Lakeside Wills and Financial Services visited.  Sue has visited Hope House on a number of occasions and has offered extremely valuable advice on wills, power of attorney and protective property trusts. This visit however was to pass over a very generous donation from Sue of £400.00.  Sue can be seen in the photo shaking hands with Carol Hill, our Care Services Manager at Hope House.  Thank you, Sue, we greatly appreciate your support.

In the afternoon, our visitor was Laura Foley, a chartered banker from the NatWest bank.  Laura gave some excellent advice on all manner of scams; email, postal and doorstep.  The advice was well presented and very relevant, and struck a chord with a number of our guests.  Everyone who took part is now in a much stronger position to defend themselves against these invidious attacks.  Laura will be also visiting our Support Cafés to impart the same advice.  Laura can be seen in the photo with some of our guests – at the back on the left.
