Are you sitting comfortably…….

Firstly, we would like to thank the talented John Griffin, for donating a beautiful table and long benches for our patio at Hope House.  John cleverly handcrafted both from reclaimed wood he found.  Our guests were so eager to be in the photo that you can hardly see the bench, but we hope you get a good idea of how they look!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Secondly, what do you do with an old unsteady bench?  Yarn bomb it of course!!  Our clever guests and volunteers got creative with some donated wool and materials and produced “The Plant Family” – everyone thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck into the idea and it makes an interesting and much-talked about focal point of our patio area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, we’ve also recently received another donation of garden furniture, some sturdy white tables and chairs that are ideal to go on the lawn.  Our thanks go to Carole and David Beesley for their generous donation.
